About the Cutlassfish
Also called the Atlantic cutlassfish, silver eel and large head hairtail, the silver ribbonfish has a silver mirror-like skin which makes it almost reflective. Its body also looks like a ribbon. However, this beautiful look shouldn’t trick you! You must be very careful with its long mouth filled with sharp teeth.
They can be found in the Atlantic, Oceanic and Pacific oceans at depths of 90 meters. Their average size is 75 centimetres. It can be said that its taste is between a flounder and a sea trout, which means it has a mild and oceany taste. Also, they are a huge source of selenium and Omega-3.
